President William Ruto on Saturday joined several prominent leaders at the wedding of Noordin Mohamed Haji, son of National Intelligence Service Director General Noordin Haji, in Masalani, Garissa County.

The groom wed his bride, Jamila Mohammed Abdulgader Al Sawae, in a ceremony rooted in Islamic and Somali cultural traditions.
Ruto, dressed in a white Kaunda suit, matching cap, and carrying a walking stick, was welcomed with song and dance as he arrived in Ijara Constituency to witness the couple’s vows.
He attended alongside top government officials, including National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen, Interior PS Raymond Omollo and Health CS Aden Duale. ODM leader and Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga was also present.

Oburu congratulated the couple, calling marriage “a wonderful blessing,” while Wetang’ula wished them a union grounded in faith, wisdom and prosperity.
