Kenyan comedian and content creator Tom Daktari has expanded his impressive car collection with the acquisition of a new Jetour T2 SUV.

Tom, whose real name is Andrew Wambua Mboya, gave fans a glimpse of his latest ride on Sunday, September 27, sharing a video of the black SUV being blessed by a pastor.

In the footage, the pastor is seen walking around the vehicle while praying over it. Tom then briefly celebrated the milestone, expressing his gratitude.

“Niwaambie tu, Mungu ni mwema,” he said.

The Jetour T2 is one of the premium SUVs gaining popularity in Kenya. According to the retailer’s website, 2026 models are currently listed locally at approximately Sh7.8 million to Sh7.86 million.

The SUV comes equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, four-wheel drive and an automatic transmission.

The latest purchase is the newest addition to a collection of vehicles Tom has occasionally showcased on social media.

In December 2023, the comedian acquired a new-generation Nissan X-Trail, which was reportedly worth around Sh2.4 million at the time.

Tom’s latest car purchase comes after he also gave his followers glimpses of his multimillion-shilling home, which he unveiled gradually between 2024 and 2025.

Over the years, the comedian has shared several personal milestones with his audience while also documenting moments involving fellow personalities in Kenya’s entertainment industry.

Earlier this month, Tom attracted attention after showing his support for fellow comedian Sammy Kioko, who announced his intention to contest for the Mavoko parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election.

At Kioko’s campaign launch on September 11, Tom reportedly contributed Sh210,000 and presented him with a Prado.

Tom said the Sh210,000 was symbolic because it matched the first amount Kioko had ever sent him for transport expenses when they were beginning their journey in the entertainment industry.

The Jetour T2 now joins Tom’s growing collection of vehicles as the comedian continues to share glimpses of his lifestyle and achievements with his followers.
