Iran Resumes Attacks on Israel

Iran has carried out further attacks against Israel, with the country’s state television saying it had launched “massive drone attacks”.

Large explosions have been heard in central Israel.

Video verified by the BBC also shows fires burning near the Haifa oil refinery in Israel following missiles fired from Iran last night.

Earlier in the day, Iranian state television said “more than 100 missiles” were fired at Israel, targeting Haifa and Tel Aviv, while three people were killed after Iran attacked the Bat Yam area, on the Israeli coast, according to Israeli emergency services.

The deceased are a 69-year-old woman, an 80-year-old woman and a 10-year-old child who were killed in Bat Yam.

The BBC has not been able to independently verify this.

A neighborhood in the northern town of Tamra was also attacked, killing at least five people, Israeli media reported, with the situation said to remain volatile.
