Rwandan President Paul Kagame shared a light-hearted moment with Kenyan comedian Crazy Kennar during a press conference in Kigali after the comedian asked to take a selfie with him.
Kennar, whose real name is Kennedy Odhiambo, told Kagame that his father often reminded him that content could open doors and said he wanted a photo with the president to prove that he had met him.

Kagame responded humorously, saying he would give Kennar two selfies.
The comedian then walked to where Kagame was seated, prompting another playful exchange when the president jokingly asked whether he was expected to stand. The moment drew laughter before the two posed for photos.
Kennar later described the meeting as an honour, saying he had met Kagame at the Africa Mindset Reset Forum hosted by the Africa School of Governance in Kigali.
The Africa-led forum brought together leaders, innovators and change-makers to discuss leadership, institutional development, technology, investment and home-grown solutions for Africa’s development.
Crazy Kennar is among Kenya’s prominent digital content creators and comedians, known for his observational comedy, viral skits and his comedy show Happy Country, which uses humour and satire to address social issues.
