This expansion forms part of the bank’s five-year strategy spanning 2025-2029, which centers on growth, digitisation, operational efficiency, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Family Bank Chief Executive Officer Nancy Njau said the new branch would strengthen the lender’s ability to serve both businesses and individuals in one of Nairobi’s most important commercial hubs. She explained that the bank’s 2025–2029 strategy is built around sustainable growth, stability, and profitability, with strategic expansion playing a key role in achieving these goals.

Njau added that the bank’s approach extends beyond simply increasing its physical presence, emphasizing that it is equally focused on strengthening its ability to serve customers through strong value propositions, digital solutions, and operational excellence.

She noted that the opening of the Upper Hill branch reflects Family Bank’s ongoing investment in Nairobi’s business community and its commitment to bringing banking services closer to its customers.
