The couple, romantically involved for nearly five years, have reportedly severed ties both personally and professionally.
Trevor has rebranded Mungai Eve’s YouTube channels as ‘Kenya Online Media’, effectively sidelining her from managing the platforms.
Affected channels include the Mungai Eve Insta Fame YouTube channel, boasting over 100,000 subscribers, and a Facebook page with 847,000 followers, previously co-owned by the couple.
Mungai, the face of their YouTube channels, gained attention for her coverage of various topics, especially in entertainment, earning a devoted following.

She rose to fame during the 2020 lockdown with her YouTube channel, spotlighting unheard voices and contributing to the recognition of emerging artists like ‘Madocho’, ‘Liyetin’, and ‘Stupid Boy’.
Director Trevor, credited as the brand’s driving force, served as its director, producer, editor, and photographer.

Before the split, Mungai’s YouTube channel reportedly generated substantial income, surpassing Sh1.5 million monthly, making her a millionaire at 21.

Mungai is currently vacationing solo in Dubai.
Following a rebranding or name change on a YouTube page:

- Viewership might decline without consistent content, risking loss of audience engagement.
- Subscribers could unsubscribe, especially after the first episode under the new name, like “Kenya Online Media”.
