Injendi, who served three terms in Parliament, died on Monday at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

At the late MP’s residence in South C, Wetang’ula honored Injendi, calling him a fair leader and a unifier who significantly contributed to the development of parliamentary policies.

“Malulu Injendi was one of the most respected MPs, known for his discipline, dedication to parliamentary debates, and committee work. As the deputy chair of the Education Committee, he played a key role in shaping policies that benefited our nation,” Wetang’ula stated.

Other MPs present at the residence praised Injendi as a selfless leader who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the people of Malava and foster unity in Parliament.

They agreed that Injendi was a leader who served Kenya without engaging in divisive politics.

“He was a mediator, a leader who united people with his wise words. During my time as Speaker, I never heard Malulu Injendi in conflict with any MP,” Wetang’ula remarked.

His colleagues described him as a wise voice in Parliament, advocating for the best educational policies and defending the interests of his constituents with great integrity.
