TikTok leads the pack when it comes to daily user engagement, with Android users spending more time on the platform than on any other social media app, according to the Digital 2026 mid-year global update report.
Data from February 2026 shows that average daily active users spent 1 hour and 34 minutes on TikTok. YouTube came in second, with users averaging 1 hour and 24 minutes daily, followed by Instagram at 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Facebook users spent an average of 1 hour and 7 minutes on the app, while WhatsApp users averaged 59 minutes. Imo followed at 54 minutes, with X and Telegram recording 32 and 31 minutes respectively.

Messenger and Reddit each averaged 19 minutes daily, followed by Snapchat at 18 minutes and Discord at 15 minutes. Pinterest users spent an average of 10 minutes on the app, while LinkedIn and Threads recorded the lowest engagement times at six and five minutes respectively.
The figures underscore TikTok’s dominant hold on users’ daily attention worldwide.
