Gachagua, joined by his wife Pastor Dorcas Rigathi and People’s Liberation Party leader Martha Karua, received a warm reception from the Kenyan diaspora community, who had gathered in large numbers to enjoy music, traditional performances, and local cuisine.

Calling the event “unforgettable,” Gachagua shared reflections on social media platform X, praising music as a unifying force and a vital tool for preserving cultural identity.
“Music has always been a powerful and effective medium for communication,” he posted.
“Together with Pastor Dorcas and my sister Martha Karua, we embraced the vibrant music and rich cultural heritage, dancing in celebration of our roots and togetherness.”
He also stressed the importance of cultural exchange in promoting unity and national identity, adding:
“Cultural experiences reflect our humanity and remind us of our collective identity and shared future. A Kenyan Ever! God bless Kenya!”
The trip to the U.S., which began Wednesday night, is Gachagua’s first international visit since his exit from office in October 2024.

It forms part of a wider initiative to connect with Kenyans abroad and deepen partnerships with global stakeholders.
