Two newly appointed Cabinet Secretaries and 14 Principal Secretaries have taken their oaths of office at the Nairobi State House.

Hannah Cheptumo has been sworn in as the Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture, and Heritage.
Geoffrey Ruku, the former Mbeere North MP, also took the oath to serve as the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service and Human Resource Development.
The 14 Principal Secretary nominees are also set to take their oaths today, following approval from the National Assembly.

President William Ruto emphasized that these changes aim to capitalize on opportunities in emerging economic sectors and address challenges impacting Kenya’s social structure.

The Principal Secretaries include:
- Stephen Isaboke (Broadcasting and Telecommunications)
- Aden Abdi Millah (Shipping and Maritime Affairs)
- Michael Loikianu Lenasalon (Devolution)
- Abdulrazak Shaukat (Science, Research, and Innovation)
- Caroline Karugu (East African Community Affairs)
- Carren Achieng (Children Welfare Services)
- Fikirini Jacobs (Youth Affairs and Creative Economy)
- Abdisalan Ibrahim (National Government Coordination)
- Cyrell Wagunda (Public Investments and Asset Management)
- Boniface Makokha (Economic Planning)
