Meanwhile, diesel and kerosene prices have dropped by Sh1.95 and Sh2.06 respectively, with diesel now selling at Sh162.91 per litre and kerosene at Sh146.93.

These prices will be effective from June 15 to July 14, 2025.

According to EPRA, “During the review period, the maximum pump price for Super Petrol has increased by Sh2.69 per litre, while those of Diesel and Kerosene have gone down by Sh1.95 and Sh2.06 per litre, respectively.”

The authority added that these prices include 16% VAT, as mandated by the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024, and inflation-adjusted excise duty as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.

In the previous May–June cycle, fuel prices remained unchanged from the April–May rates.

EPRA also highlighted a slight increase in the average landing cost of Super petrol, which rose by 0.35% from US$588.16 in April to US$590.24 per cubic metre in May 2025.

Diesel and kerosene, on the other hand, saw a drop in their landing costs by 2.42% and 5.14%, respectively.
