Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has announced the sudden death of his wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale.
In a heartbreaking message, the senator said his wife suddenly collapsed on Saturday morning and died after suffering a heart attack.
“My dear wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, has this morning suddenly collapsed and died after a heart attack,” Khalwale said.
Gloria was the mother of eight children: Engine Kukaste Khalwale, Olivia Sabayi Khalwale, Flavia Shimuli Khalwale, Gift Atubukha Khalwale, Meliza Khamwenyi Khalwale, Velma Nasiebanda Khalwale, Sonia Inuni Khalwale and Maura Makatse Khalwale.
Her sudden death has left the Khalwale family, relatives, friends and loved ones mourning.
The news has also triggered an outpouring of condolences to the senator and his family as they come to terms with the unexpected loss.
