Marriage has been a recurring theme for Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, who frequently discusses his ideal spouse.
During a recent interview with Betty Kyallo on TV 47, Salasya disclosed his preference for a busy wife, highlighting his expectation of her submission, citing biblical and spiritual reasons.

Furthermore, Salasya asserted that a busy wife would not excessively contact him, expressing his intention to marry two or three wives, confident in his ability to support them financially.
