Detectives are investigating the death of a pregnant woman who collapsed and died on the road in Korogocho slums, Nairobi, on Sunday night.
Witnesses reported that the woman, experiencing stomach pain, had visited a local chemist for relief. The attendant provided her with a painkiller and advised her to seek further medical attention at a clinic the next day.
After leaving the chemist, she walked a short distance before collapsing and dying at the scene. Police found her body on the road and have launched an investigation. The body has been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and further examination.
