Njambi wa Njau, a well-known presenter at Inooro TV, has resigned from her role at the Royal Media Services (RMS)-owned station to pursue new opportunities in the United States.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Njambi announced her move to the US, where she will be working with another media outlet, although she did not disclose specific details about her new role.
“My time at Inooro TV has come to an end, but I am grateful for this new blessing. To the diaspora, I look forward to connecting with you on your screens,” she wrote in a post.
The media figure expressed her excitement about this new chapter in her career. “Life is about letting go of what you think you love and embracing new experiences. It’s about closing the door on things that make you think you’re okay when you’re not,” she noted.
“I am thankful to God for this new phase in my life and for choosing me among many,” she added.

Currently in Washington DC, Njambi reported a warm welcome since her arrival. “So far, so good. I’m grateful for the kind reception I’ve received here. America has embraced me, and I’m feeling happy,” she said.
Before her departure, Njambi served as both a news presenter and show host at the Kikuyu vernacular station. Earlier in her career, she was also an actor and was part of a theater group called Liberty Theatre.
She joined Inooro TV as a reporter in 2016 but left in 2018 for another opportunity that ultimately did not materialize, prompting her return to RMS in 2020.

In previous interviews, Njambi shared her long-held dream of becoming a journalist, citing celebrated TV personality Julie Gichuru as her inspiration. “I have always wanted to pursue this path, and I used to wonder why I couldn’t be like her,” she reflected.
