Joseph Pertton, Naivas Head of Strategy, reflected on the journey, emphasizing that the company remains focused on extending its reach across the country as part of its continued growth.
“We’re committed to expanding our footprint. Wherever we see potential, we’ll move in to offer the signature Naivas experience,” he said. “We have several store openings planned in different parts of Kenya.”
Naivas currently operates 109 branches and employs 12,000 people.
The retailer says part of its strategy is to make shopping more affordable for its customers while strengthening its position as a leading player in Kenya’s retail sector.
Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is also a core pillar of Naivas’ future plans. The company said all its stores are adopting eco-friendly practices such as efficient waste management and recycling, including reusing cooking oil from deli operations.

“We’re pushing even further on sustainability. As a business, we’re eager to expand our environmental footprint and make it a key part of our growth,” Pertton noted.
