In a significant declaration of support, Dr. Vincent Munyoki, the esteemed Kitui Youth Leader and founder of the Vincent Munyoki Foundation, has announced that the youth of Kitui are firmly throwing their weight behind Raila Odinga’s bid for the chairmanship of the African Union (AU).
“This decision was not made lightly,” Dr. Munyoki emphasized, highlighting Raila Odinga’s exceptional leadership qualities, visionary approach, and unwavering dedication to the advancement of not only Kenya but the entire African continent.
Speaking on behalf of the youth, Dr. Munyoki asserted, “Raila’s track record exemplifies his commitment to fostering positive change and enhancing unity among African nations. His leadership transcends borders and resonates deeply with the aspirations of the youth.”
Furthermore, Dr. Munyoki urged unity and solidarity among the leaders of the Azimio movement, emphasizing the importance of standing together in the face of challenges. “Now is not the time for division or panic,” he stated. “We must remain united and steadfast in our commitment to advancing the interests of our nation and continent.”
Expressing gratitude to President William Ruto for his support of Raila Odinga’s candidacy, Dr. Munyoki acknowledged the significance of bipartisan recognition for this pivotal endeavor. “President Ruto’s support underscores the importance of this mission, and we are grateful for his endorsement,” he remarked.

In a heartfelt appeal to all Kenyans, Dr. Munyoki called for widespread support for Raila Odinga’s candidacy for AU chairmanship. “Let us rally behind Raila Odinga as he embarks on this journey to secure the AU chairmanship,” he urged. “Together, we can build a brighter future for Africa—one characterized by unity, progress, and prosperity for all.”
