Mark Kitute Nding’o, the member of Kitui County Assembly representing Yatta Kwavonza, recently delivered a message of guidance and encouragement as students prepared for their midterm break.

Serving as the Chair of the Education Committee, Nding’o emphasized the importance of vigilance and wisdom during this period.

Addressing both students and parents, Nding’o urged students to view the break as an opportunity for personal growth rather than just relaxation. He cautioned against indulging in activities like drug use, highlighting their detrimental effects on health and future prospects.

Nding’o stressed the significance of parental involvement in monitoring and guiding their children’s choices, urging them to understand their challenges and aspirations.

Additionally, Nding’o emphasized the importance of responsible agricultural practices, urging residents not to hastily sell all their produce. He warned of the risks of aflatoxin and weevils and advocated for wise preservation of harvests to ensure both health and economic security.

In his closing, Nding’o encouraged positive growth, wise decision-making, and the laying of foundations for a brighter future during the midterm break.

He called upon parents to be guiding lights for their children and urged all Kitui residents to move forward prudently, safeguarding health, children’s futures, and the prosperity of the land.
