Kitui: Holy Parish Kabati Holds Couple’s Seminar

Holy Parish Kabati, led by Father Julius Muthamba, organized a seminar for couples on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.

Held in the parish hall, the event aimed to address various aspects of family life and the challenges inherent in marriage. The focus was on providing couples with strategies to cope with these challenges and strengthen their relationships within the sanctity of marriage.

 

Speaking during the workshop, Father Julius Muthamba highlighted the seminar’s purpose: to help families prioritize family affairs and maintain happy marriages, particularly during tough economic times. He stressed the importance of being truthful and adhering to marriage vows, noting that happy families are essential to a happy society. His insights set a reflective and motivating tone for the seminar, encouraging couples to deeply consider the values underpinning their marital commitments.

 

Nicholas Muasya, one of the attendees expressed his gratitude to Father Julius for organizing the seminar. He also thanked the couples for their participation, recognizing the importance of such forums in strengthening marital bonds.

Muasya shared that he learned a great deal about family life and marriage, specifically on adjusting to married life while raising children and improving family communication. His feedback underscored the seminar’s success in providing valuable insights and practical advice to attendees.

 

Looking ahead, Muasya and other participants expressed a strong desire for more seminars of this nature. They appreciated the opportunity to learn and grow together as couples, forming a supportive community within the parish.
