“We know times are hard. Please don’t let your neighbour go without food,” Gachagua said, also advising holiday travellers to stay safe during the festive journeys.

He appeared alongside his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, extending Christmas and New Year greetings to Kenyans, highlighting the year 2025 as one of both blessings and challenges, and encouraging faith and optimism as the country transitions into 2026.

Pastor Dorcas emphasised hope and renewal, assuring families that God would meet their needs, while the couple reminded citizens to prioritise safety during holiday travels, which often see increased road accidents.

In a written note accompanying the video, Gachagua concluded: “Dear Kenyans, on this festive season, my family and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026. God bless you and keep you safe.”
