Arsenal have qualified for the Champions League final for the first time in 20 years, following a narrow 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal advanced 2-1 on aggregate after the first leg of their semi-final in Madrid ended in a 1-1 draw.
The only goal of the game was scored by Bukayo Saka in the first half, finishing off a pass from the Atletico goalkeeper after a shot by Leandro Trossard.
This is their second final in the tournament’s history, losing 2-1 to Barcelona in 2006.
This year’s final will be played at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, on May 30, where Arsenal will face the winner of the other semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
