In a statement, the airline explained that the flight diversions were a precautionary step taken to prioritize the safety of passengers and crew.
“As a result of the poor visibility at JKIA this morning, some of our incoming flights were redirected to alternative airports,” the airline said.
The statement also noted that passengers should anticipate delays in both arrivals and departures due to the weather-related disruptions.
