Three male students from SEKU University in Kwa Vonza, Kitui County, were killed instantly in a road accident last night.

The students were traveling on a motorcycle from the university to their home in Kwa Vonza when they collided with the rear of a sand truck that had been parked on the roadside due to a mechanical issue, according to the area chief, Ronald Mbuvi.
Police from the Kwa Vonza Police Station responded to the scene and have begun an investigation into the incident.
The bodies of the victims have been transported to Kitui Hospital’s mortuary as the investigation continues.
