Police in Kiambu County are investigating the killing of a 21-year-old delivery man whose body was found outside his residence in Ruaka on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Douglas Abutsu, who operated a small delivery business in the area.

According to police reports, Abutsu’s body was discovered in the Sir Rueben area with multiple injuries, including deep cuts on his left palm, abdomen, back, and shoulder.
Witnesses told investigators that two women visited his home early in the morning but initially found him absent. Neighbors said they overheard the women calling him several times and requesting to meet him.
When Abutsu replied that he was on his way, the women reportedly left the compound to meet him outside. Shortly after, residents heard a commotion and found him fatally injured.

The attackers reportedly fled the scene immediately. The motive for the killing remains unknown.
The body has been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy as investigations continue. As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made, and detectives are following leads to identify the suspects and uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack.
