A female law student at Moi University in Eldoret was found dead in what is suspected to be a suicide.
Reginah Wanjiku, 20, a second-year law student, was discovered on Wednesday, March 25, hanging from the door grill of her rented house at Annex Shopping Centre in Sugunanga, according to police.
Her mother, after failing to reach her by phone, contacted friends to check on her.

Police reported that Reginah used a leso to hang herself and left a note in which she expressed love for everyone and apologized for her decision.
The motive behind the incident remains unclear as the body was taken to the mortuary for a postmortem examination.
