A senior preacher in the church is also seen assisting by holding the bowl of oil as members line up to receive the anointing. Congregants are shown removing their shoes and sitting on seats as the ritual is performed.

Kanyari’s Statement
In his TikTok post, Kanyari confirmed that Marion has been officially entrusted with administering the anointing oil to church members. He emphasized that no one’s past should prevent them from receiving salvation or building a renewed relationship with God.

“Marion Naipei anointing fellow church members. What is that thing that will bar a relationship between my Saviour?” Kanyari wrote, highlighting his belief in redemption and spiritual transformation.

Pastor Marion Naipei
This comes shortly after Kanyari revealed plans to ordain Marion as a pastor at his Salvation and Healing Ministry. Speaking to local YouTubers on January 29, 2026, he said she will join the pastoral team and even preach at the church.

“Very soon, Marion atakuwa our pastor hapa, nitam ordain hapa na akuwe pastor atakuwa anatuhubiria hapa hata mimi atakuwa pastor wangu,” Kanyari stated.

He explained that his support for Marion was motivated by concern after she faced online backlash following a previous scandal. Kanyari said he felt it would be wrong to abandon her during a difficult period and that bringing her into his church offered guidance and support.

“Marion ni rafiki yangu na siwezi taka kuona mtu akiteseka katika nchi ya Kenya… nika make sure amekuja kanisani,” he added.

On the Viral Video
Kanyari also addressed the controversy around leaked private content, downplaying its significance and saying such situations are common.

“Hakuna mtu hana nudes, ni vile zake zilileak hiyo ni kawaida,” he remarked.
