The forward, a product of United’s Academy, has made 426 appearances for the club since his debut against FC Midtjylland in 2016. Over the years, he has scored 138 goals and won five major trophies.

This season, Rashford has played 24 times, scoring 7 goals. His most recent appearance was in a 2-1 Europa League victory against Viktoria Plzen in December, and he netted a brace in United’s 4-0 Premier League win over Everton earlier that month.

The 27-year-old has earned 60 caps and scored 17 goals for England, participating in two European Championships and two World Cups.

Rashford’s loan move to Aston Villa occurred just before the final day of the January transfer window, shortly after United announced the signing of 20-year-old Danish defender Patrick Dorgu from Serie A side Lecce.

Earlier in the window, Brazilian forward Antony also left on loan, joining La Liga’s Real Betis.

Everyone at Manchester United wishes Marcus all the best for the rest of the season.
