The country plans to spotlight advancements in renewable energy, trade, tourism, technology, and rich cultural traditions.

The Kenya Pavilion will emphasize the nation’s economic transformation efforts, focusing on grassroots empowerment and sustainable development.

The pavilion will feature five thematic zones, each highlighting a unique aspect of Kenya’s story. These zones will cover areas such as cultural heritage, trade and investment prospects, sustainability projects, and signature exports like tea, coffee, flowers, and nuts. Visitors will enjoy interactive and immersive experiences that showcase Kenya’s vibrant landscapes, communities, and innovations.

A standout attraction is Sample Bar Kenya, an interactive space where visitors can explore Kenyan music by mixing pre-recorded sounds, learning about traditional instruments, and composing their own tunes. The bar will also offer tastings of Kenyan products such as tea, coffee, and nuts.

Kenya has also organized a series of special events during the expo. Kenya Week Celebrations kick off on June 22, 2025, with a mini-marathon titled “Run with Champions,” featuring world-renowned Kenyan athletes. On June 23, 2025, the Kenya-Japan High-Level Business Forum will take place, aimed at enhancing cooperation in trade, tourism, and investment.

June 24, 2025, marks Kenya’s National Day at the expo, featuring a flag-raising ceremony and traditional cultural performances, with the President of Kenya expected as the Chief Guest. A Diaspora Networking Dinner will follow on June 25, 2025, to engage Kenyans residing in Japan and neighboring countries in investment opportunities.

Additionally, a Flower Day will be held, celebrating Kenya’s thriving flower industry—Kenya ranks as the fourth-largest exporter of cut flowers globally.

Kenya’s participation in the expo aims to raise awareness about its development agenda, build global partnerships, and promote its goods and services on an international stage.
