Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba has expressed her resolve not to be cowed, asserting her readiness to relinquish her position if need be.
Addressing the Limuru III conference, she disclosed facing significant intimidation but affirmed her determination to advocate for the interests of the Mount Kenya people.

Highlighting the challenges she has encountered, Wamuchomba emphasized her commitment to lead the fight for the community’s concerns. She acknowledged reaching out to former President Uhuru Kenyatta, seeking reconciliation and his blessing to champion their cause.

During the encounter, Uhuru urged her to persevere in advocating for the region’s welfare, underscoring his role as its custodian. Starehe MP Amos Mwago echoed the sentiment, stressing the importance of unity among leaders to advance the community’s agenda.

The conference also saw the presence of notable figures such as former Laikipia Governor Nderitu Muriithi and Jubilee Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni, all rallying behind the cause of Mount Kenya’s interests.
