People’s Prosperity Party Receives Full Registration Certificate

The People’s Prosperity Party (PPP) has formally received its Full Registration Certificate from the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), clearing it to take part in the 2027 General Election.

The certificate allows the party to field candidates for all elective positions across the country. The party has already submitted the names and specimen signatures of its authorised persons to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), as the law requires.

With registration complete, PPP says it is ready to pursue what it calls Kenya’s “Third Liberation Agenda,” which is centred on economic emancipation. The agenda is built on nine thematic areas: lower taxes, effective management of public debt, and the eradication of corruption. It also promises free primary and day secondary education and free public health services in all public hospitals.

The party further intends to turn Kenya into a digital and creative economy and make the country a leading sporting nation in Africa. Its programme is rounded off by a commitment to constitutionalism and the rule of law, and to equity in the distribution of wealth for shared prosperity.
