Speaking during a church service in Kirinyaga County, Gachagua alleged that the secretive team comprises 101 specially trained officers whose formation was allegedly endorsed by the National Intelligence Service (NIS) under Director General Noordin Haji.
He linked this unit to the mysterious death of influencer Albert Ojwang’, claiming it is responsible for numerous extrajudicial killings that have been systematically covered up.
Gachagua further demanded that President Ruto be held accountable for the alleged deaths, urging both local justice mechanisms and the international community to intervene.
He insisted that the Kenyan public would ultimately hold the President responsible. The death of Ojwang’ has attracted widespread scrutiny, particularly due to discrepancies in police reports and hospital records.
While DCI Director Amin Mohamed claimed Ojwang’ was found unconscious and later died at Mbagathi Hospital, CCTV footage shows he arrived earlier than reported and remained unattended in a police vehicle for over 20 minutes.

The hospital later confirmed he was brought in dead, with signs of physical trauma, fueling ongoing protests and calls for accountability from top police officials.
