A man left at a hospital in Mukuru slums has died from a chest stab wound, prompting a police investigation into the incident.

The victim, identified as Samuel Baraka, 23, succumbed to his injuries at Lengo Hospital shortly after being abandoned there on Tuesday, July 9, at noon.

Staff at the hospital informed authorities that a group brought the unidentified man seeking treatment for a deep stab wound to his upper left chest.
Unfortunately, he passed away during treatment.

The group responsible for bringing him disappeared before police arrived. Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei stated that they are seeking these individuals for questioning to understand the circumstances leading to the fatal injuries.
The body has been transferred to the morgue pending an autopsy and further investigation.
