In a fervent campaign against teenage pregnancy plaguing secondary schools in Kitui County, Dr. Vincent Munyoki has emerged as a leading voice, advocating for collective action and support for the girl child.
Addressing students at Matinyani Mixed Secondary School in Kitui West on Friday, Munyoki underscored the urgency of addressing this pressing issue, emphasizing the importance of empowering young girls and boys alike.

“It is a challenge that demands collective attention and action, especially when it comes to empowering our young girls,” Munyoki declared, highlighting the need for comprehensive support systems to guide adolescents through the complexities of adolescence.

Encouraging students to heed the wisdom of their parents, teachers, and church leaders, Munyoki stressed the pivotal role of education in shaping their futures. “Education is the foundation upon which your dreams are built. I implore you to dedicate yourselves to your studies,” he urged, emphasizing the transformative power of education in unlocking opportunities.
Moreover, Munyoki did not shy away from addressing the dangers of substance abuse, cautioning students against the detrimental effects of drugs on both their health and academic pursuits. “Stay away from such temptations and prioritize your well-being and education above all else,” he advised, highlighting the need for resilience and determination in resisting negative influences.
