Sosoma, Nguni – Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe on Friday commissioned the newly constructed Sosoma Dispensary in Nguni, Mwingi Central Sub-County, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to expanding access to healthcare across the county.
The facility is part of the Governor’s all-round development agenda, designed to improve the well-being of Kitui residents and actualize his healthcare plan.

Speaking during the commissioning, Dr. Malombe announced that his administration will further enhance the dispensary by installing solar lighting, establishing a maternity wing, and equipping it with laboratory services.
These upgrades, he said, will save residents from traveling long distances to seek essential medical care.

Beyond health, the Sosoma community has also benefited from a pipeline extension from Tivai to Kyange at the Sosoma/Mwanzale area, a project aimed at boosting access to clean and reliable water.

The Governor reiterated his administration’s focus on transformative projects that touch on key sectors including health, water, and infrastructure, noting that such initiatives are central to improving the malombeality of life for Kitui residents.
