The National Police Service (NPS) fraternity gathered at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on the evening of September 26, 2025, to receive the body of the late Corporal Kennedy Mutuku Nzuve.
The solemn occasion was led by the Commandant of the National Police College Embakasi ‘A’ Campus, Mr. Isaac Alimaa, SAIG.
Corporal Nzuve tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident on September 1, 2025, while serving with the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSSM) in Haiti.
His remains were received by senior NPS officials alongside his family, led by his mother, Mrs. Serah Nzuve.
In a statement, the National Police Service conveyed its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officer, assuring them of unwavering support during this difficult time.
After the reception, the body was transferred to Chiromo Mortuary for preservation. Burial arrangements will be announced later.
Also in attendance were the Commandant of the RDU, Mr. Aggrey Shamala, AIG; the Director of Medical Services for the APS, Madam Lilian Kanini, AIG; the Chief of Staff for the APS, Mr. Haron Nthiga, AIG; and the NPS Spokesperson, Mr. Muchiri Nyaga, AIG.
Corporal Nzuve is remembered as a dedicated officer who served his country with honor, both at home and in international peace missions.
