Tabitha Gatwiri, a well-known content creator and actress, has passed away.
Reports indicate that she fell ill two days ago, and her brother found her unresponsive in her home after growing concerned when she didn’t answer his calls. He broke into her house and tragically discovered her lifeless body.

Her remains are currently at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Alex Mathenge confirmed the news on his official Instagram, writing, “Go well, Gatwiri. Fly with the angels, ‘Celeb.’”

Kenyans and fans have taken to social media to mourn her, many highlighting her vibrant personality.
Comedian MC Bull shared his sadness, recalling their recent conversation. “I can’t believe you’re gone. Just last month, we discussed our upcoming shoot. I’m at a loss for words. Your talent will be missed. May God give your family strength during this difficult time. R.I.P. Tabitha Gatwiri,” he wrote.
Muchiri Gichuri expressed his condolences, stating, “Tabitha Gatwiri, TABS, was a gifted and dynamic young creator whose influence touched many. Her creativity and passion were truly inspiring, and her absence will be deeply felt.”
He added, “My heartfelt condolences to her family in Nyeri, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her. May you find comfort and strength in the cherished memories. Rest in peace, Tabitha.”

Mwenda Thuranira also shared his grief, saying, “I’m struggling to process the sudden loss of my sister and friend, Tabitha Gatwiri. She was a beacon of light for younger generations, known for her immense talent, discipline, and hard work. She truly represented the Meru community on the Kenyan stage.”
