Comedian Mannerson Oduor Ochieng, widely known as Akuku Danger, has opened up about his recent struggle with Sickle Cell disease, describing it as a challenging ordeal that required divine intervention for recovery.
Akuku Danger’s history with the illness is well-documented, having faced previous episodes that necessitated hospitalization and appeals for assistance from well-wishers.

Actress Sandra Dacha, a close friend, has been a consistent source of support, assisting him in raising funds for medical expenses. Akuku Danger recently disclosed that he was hospitalized once again due to another Sickle Cell crisis, likening the disease to a formidable adversary.

“In the past few weeks, I have experienced the overwhelming support of God. Sickle Cell is truly a formidable adversary. One moment, you’re going about your daily activities, striving hard to secure your livelihood, and the next, you find yourself battling for survival in a hospital bed,” Akuku shared.
He shared a video from his hospital bed, emphasizing his intention to raise awareness about the disease and offer encouragement to fellow sufferers.
“I’m sharing this not to seek sympathy or pity, but to offer inspiration to all the Sickle Cell warriors out there. You are all much stronger than you realize,” Akuku affirmed.
