A 43-year-old man has been apprehended by the police in Muguga village, Kabete, Kiambu County, after allegedly breaking into his ex-wife’s residence and viciously stabbing both her and a man present in the house, a month following their separation.
Witnesses reported that the suspect’s attempts to flee were thwarted when residents gathered, compelling him to barricade himself inside the house until the arrival of law enforcement officers, who subsequently transported the victims to the hospital.
Kabete Police Commander Anthony Mbogo verified the incident, confirming that the suspect is currently held at Muguga police station. Meanwhile, the severely injured victims have been admitted to Thogoto Hospital for additional medical care.
