The Ministry of Interior and National Administration has announced a series of designated black spots across the country, pinpointing road sections that have seen a high rate of traffic accidents.

In a statement released earlier this week, the ministry urged motorists to exercise extreme caution when navigating these areas to safeguard their own lives and those of others on the road.

Safety Measures and Public Awareness
As part of the government’s efforts to reduce the risk of accidents on these roads, the Ministry has committed to working with local authorities and law enforcement to enhance safety measures, including increased monitoring and public awareness campaigns.
Motorists are advised to slow down, adhere to road signs, and be vigilant while driving through these black spots. The Ministry also emphasized the importance of using seat belts, avoiding distractions, and refraining from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The government urges road users to remain cautious during the festive season, when traffic volumes are typically higher, and accidents are more frequent.
