Ntutu’s appointment to the ICTA board was formalised through a gazette notice dated April 2, issued by Communications and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo.
She will serve a three-year term beginning from the date of her appointment, as outlined in the notice.
ICTA Chairperson Lily Ng’ok welcomed her to the board, expressing confidence in her capabilities and the value she is expected to bring to the institution.
Ng’ok noted that she looks forward to working closely with Ntutu and believes she will make a meaningful contribution to the team.
A trained lawyer, Ntutu has focused her career on advocating for women’s rights, particularly in raising awareness about legal protections available to women.

She has actively participated in community outreach initiatives in Narok and Emurua Dikirr, helping women access legal services and better understand their rights.
Additionally, she has been a strong supporter of girls’ education, encouraging young learners to remain in school and build confidence to take on leadership roles.
Previously maintaining a low public profile, Ntutu came into the spotlight following the death of her husband, Johana Ngeno, who passed away in a helicopter crash on February 28, 2026.
