The tournament, which commenced on December 26 and concluded with the final on December 28, featured four county teams from Kisumu, Siaya, Migori, and Homa Bay. Sponsored by the Eliud Owalo Foundation, and supported by Eliud Owalo, the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, the competition aimed to provide a platform for youth empowerment, unlocking their untapped potential in sports development.

Homa Bay claimed the championship title along with a trophy and a cash prize of Sh400,000, while the runners-up, Kisumu Combined, received Sh300,000.
In the third-fourth playoff match at the same venue, Siaya Combined secured third place by defeating Migori Combined 2-1. Siaya was awarded Sh200,000, and Migori received Sh100,000.
Eliud Owalo highlighted the significance of the tournament, noting the presence of coaches and scouts from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League. The event provided a unique opportunity for talented players to be scouted by potential teams.
Twenty-two standout players were identified from all four teams to compose the consolidated Nyanza Combined team. This combined team is set to face the FKF Premier League giants, Gor Mahia FC, at Nyilima Grounds in Asembo, Siaya County, on Saturday, December 30.
