The club has announced record-breaking ticket prices, ranging from 1,500 Kenyan shillings to 3,000 Kenyan shillings for the lowest and highest tiers, respectively. This information was disseminated via social media platforms, with the club specifying,
“Next fixture: Kenya Police F.C vs Gor Mahia FC, Police Sacco Stadium on 03/02/2024 at 3:00 pm. Gate fees: VVIP 3000, VIP 2000, terraces 1500.”
Tickets will be available for purchase over three days leading up to the match, namely on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with the club emphasizing that no ticket sales will occur on match day itself.
Notably, Police FC has opted for an online ticketing system, with fans directed to a designated link for purchasing tickets through the club’s social media channels.
Gor Mahia, currently topping the Premier League standings with 43 points from 19 matches, will face Police FC, who sit sixth with 30 points. Despite Gor Mahia’s unbeaten streak this season, they have suffered defeats from five different teams.
In their latest encounters, Gor Mahia secured a 1-0 victory over Tusker at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, extending their lead at the top to ten points. Conversely, Police FC emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Nzoia in their recent home fixture.
