Wavinya Ndeti Named Among Africa’s Top 100 Women

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has been honoured as one of Africa’s 100 Most Influential Women at the 4th African Women Awards held in Kigali, Rwanda.

The annual awards, organised by the She Achievers Network, recognise outstanding African women driving change across the continent through leadership, innovation, and social impact.

In her message of appreciation, Governor Ndeti expressed her gratitude, saying she was deeply honoured to be listed among women making a meaningful difference in Africa.

“This recognition strengthens my resolve to continue advocating for transformative governance, women and youth empowerment, and community-driven growth,” she said.

She dedicated the award to the people of Machakos County and to women across Africa “who continue to dream boldly, break barriers, and lead with purpose.”
