The well-known gospel singer, Linet Munyali, also known as Size 8, recently spoke on Citizen TV about the challenges she faced amidst her rise to stardom. She revealed that despite achieving great success with chart-topping hits, she experienced a deep sense of loneliness and dissatisfaction, realizing that material wealth and fame didn’t bring true happiness.
During the interview, Size 8 candidly shared how the sudden fame led to a loss of genuine relationships and inner peace. She confessed to turning to alcohol as a coping mechanism, often finding herself alone in clubs during the early hours of the morning.
The singer acknowledged the unhealthy path she was on and recognized the potential dangers of addiction and risky situations if she didn’t make changes in her life.
Reflecting on her journey, Size 8 admitted to questioning her future in the gospel music industry and even considering alternative career paths. Additionally, she revealed facing health issues such as migraines and high blood pressure, which tragically resulted in the loss of two babies.
Despite these hardships, Size 8 emphasized her journey of transformation and finding solace through faith.
