The Lower Eastern Times Opening The Third Eye
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta, is set to attend the 15th High-Level Retreat on the Promotion of Peace, Security, and Stability in Africa to be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The retreat will focus on the Impact and Sustainability of AU Preventive Diplomacy and Mediation in addressing conflicts across the continent.
Mr Kenyatta was received at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport in Abidjan by AU Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace, and Security Bankole Adeoye, and former Vice President of Uganda Specioza Wandira Kazibwe.
