Separately, in Kitengela, police arrested a suspect linked to the death of 50-year-old Caroline Akinyi Ochieng, whose body was found in a thicket on November 19. The suspect was traced to Kisumu, where officers say he was found with her vehicle. The motive remains unclear as investigations continue.
In Nyandarua County, a bar confrontation in Ndunyu turned fatal, resulting in the death of 27-year-old Jeff Kaburu Muchai. Police say he was struck during a fight with other patrons, who fled afterward. A search for the suspects is ongoing.
In Migori County, a four-year-old girl died after touching an exposed live wire at a posho mill in Macalder. She was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive. Police are investigating the incident.

In Mombasa, three police officers sustained minor injuries after their Land Rover collided with a commuter train traveling from Miritini to the Mombasa Railway Station. The officers were heading to a crime scene when the crash occurred.
