Investigators report that the group had been at the apartment for a late-night party, and neighbours had earlier complained about noise. Security guards said they heard a loud sound before discovering the student on the ground.

Police are treating the case as suspicious as they piece together what happened, including whether the fall was accidental or involved foul play. The body was taken to the mortuary for further examination.

In Githurai, Nairobi, a 25-year-old woman, Gloria Kwamboka Angwenyi, who had been missing for two days, was found dead in her bathroom. Police say the case is being treated as a suspected self-harm incident, and a note was recovered at the scene. Officers had to force entry into her bedsitter after neighbours raised concerns. The body was moved to the mortuary for an autopsy.

In another case in the same area, police are investigating the death of 22-year-old Kenyatta University student Latifa Wangari, whose body was found in her house after neighbours noticed a strong smell and reported not seeing her for days. A note was also found at the scene, and police are verifying its origin. The body was moved for postmortem examinations.
