Mutua Announces Job Vacancies for 1,000 Drivers in Saudi Arabia

Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has revealed that 1,000 driver job openings are available in Saudi Arabia for qualified Kenyan drivers.

Mutua shared the announcement on social media, stating that a reputable company in Saudi Arabia is urgently hiring drivers for various vehicles, including small cars, buses, and trucks. The successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of 1,400 Saudi Riyals, approximately KSh 50,000.

In addition to the salary, selected individuals will enjoy benefits such as free accommodation, transport, food, and medical care once they arrive in Saudi Arabia.

Applicants must possess an original driving license and valid certificates. Those without a passport need not worry, as expedited passport processing will be provided for all selected candidates.

However, successful applicants will be required to pay a medical fee of KSh 15,000, which is to be settled on their own. Mutua urged candidates to prepare the fee in advance, noting that successful applicants will travel immediately after completing their medical clearance.

The recruitment process will be conducted in three counties: Nairobi, Nyeri, and Mombasa.

  • Nairobi candidates are to attend the recruitment at Kabete National Polytechnic on December 18-19, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Nyeri candidates can attend at Nyeri National Polytechnic on December 20-21, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Mombasa candidates will have their interviews at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic on December 23-24, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
