The upgrade programme targets teachers holding P1 or Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) certificates, enabling them to advance to a Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE).
Applicants must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
KUCCPS CEO Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome said the initiative will equip educators with skills to implement the Competency-Based Curriculum and help address possible teacher shortages.
Additionally, KUCCPS has reopened TVET applications for the September intake, running from August 8 to 22, with the application fee reduced to KSh 500.
