The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has opened applications for 200 graduate trainee positions, inviting young professionals to join the tax agency.
In a notice published in the government gazette on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, KRA said it is seeking highly motivated, ethical, and dynamic individuals to take up the roles.

Alongside the graduate trainee intake, the authority also announced additional vacancies in several departments. These include: Officer – Data Integration, Officer – Revenue Assurance & Fraud Analytics, Officer – Security Tools Operations, Officer – Business Application Support, Officer – Data Centre Operations, Officer – Knowledge Management (Strategy & Programmes), Officer – Knowledge Management (Knowledge Infrastructure), and 50 driver positions.
Application process
Applicants have been advised to submit their applications through the official KRA careers portal by September 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. The authority emphasized that presenting forged documents or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification and possible prosecution.
KRA further noted that the recruitment is free of charge and warned candidates against paying any fees at any stage of the process.

Required clearances
Successful candidates will be required to provide compliance documents as per Chapter Six of the Constitution, including: a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a valid KRA tax compliance certificate, and a credit status report from an authorized Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
